REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Mayan Plantation, Limited, (MPL) issues a Request for Proposals from qualified, well funded Project Developers for four (4) real estate development projects on its strategic located property in the nation of Belize. All Proposals will be on display and posted on this website for comments from various stakeholders. Proposals must be submitted in digital and printed form (2) copies, on or before June 28, 2019, 5:00 PM HST at the US/Pacific Rim Administrative Office: Attention Mayan Plantation, 1188 Bishop Street, Suite 2502, Honolulu, HI 96813 USA, and via e-mail to gerhart@principalityofcappadocia.org.

Thus far, the following proposals have been accepted for review.

Proposal for Destination Resort

The Blue Water Resorts concept and Disney Theme Movie Studio presentation was created by Michael J. Malik Sr. and his team at MJMEnterprises, a Detroit based company. Mr. Malik has been an enthusiastic entrepreneur for more than three decades, primarily with gaming operations from coast to coast in the United States– ranging from New York, through Michigan to California. In addition, he participated in the development of hotels, golf courses and retail shopping malls at various locations across the country. In recent years, Mr. Malik has seriously considered doing a major resort on the Mayan Plantation property in the nation of Belize and, after thorough research and visits to Belize, he designed and presented the Blue Water Resorts project for possible development.

 

Proposal for Destination Resort

The Belize Grand Resort and Casino (BRD&C) concept was created by BRD, LLC., a Nevada based company. BRD&C, headed by Walter Freeman, Thomas Blake, and Marc Bellizzi will act as government liaison for BRD&C, assist in the process of obtaining contracts, permits and licenses for a project that will enhance and cultivate the Belize environment. BRD’s team has extensive resort design, and gaming experience, including training and placement of casino personnel, architecture design background, and casino hotel development. Combined within BRD’s team there is over 40 years experience in the hotel resort industry, gaming industry, and energy service industry. BRD is planning a four-star vacation destination resort located in Belize. It will feature a 450- key hotel. Phase I of the project will include a casino, private villas, overwater bungalows, health spa, museum, themed restaurants and other revenue generating retail concessions. Phase I will also include a marina, yacht club, PGA type golf course with clubhouse and additional retail concessions. The resort will employ over 1,000 people, help support the community and will be the highest quality resort in the country. BRD&C is looking for a Project Developer who can raise Project Funding.

 

Proposal for Equestrian Center and Community

The Belize Polo & Country Club is a development concept created with the advice of Capt. Mark Phillips, Olympic Gold Medalist, and Coach of the US Olympic Equestrian Team. The original plan includes a 2,000-acre portion of the Mayan Plantation to be used for the development of an equestrian community with two hundred (200) 5-acre compounds, each with three 1-acre Equestrian Estates and one 2-acre paddock. When fully sold out, these six hundred (600) Equestrian Estates will feature large plantation/ranch style homes with stable and horses. The planners for this community allowed generous open space corridors that are linked by road and horse trail to modern equestrian facilities, polo fields, show arena for dressage, a world-class race track that may include gaming facilities, sky-boxes for companies or individuals, The plan includes an Equestrian Inn/Lodge with guest suites, additional club facilities, restaurants, retail shops and meeting rooms, veterinarian clinic, staff housing, modern stable and maintenance facilities that may result in the creation and development of an Olympic Trainings Center and a Belize National Polo and Equestrian Team.
